Sean Ozyazgan

Born in California and growing up in Georgia, Sean doesn’t necessarily come from an endurance background. But, as a kid he always loved to run and spend time outdoors. After high school, his family moved back to San Diego and Sean attended UCLA – where his triathlon journey began.

Sean decided to start training for triathlon his senior year of college. Although he had no formal endurance base, he was very quickly able to build the engine. Post-covid he finally raced his first Ironman in Cozumel – finishing 1st in his age group and qualifying for Kona!

Sean’s biggest achievements are running a 2:56 marathon off of a 4:45 bike split at Ironman Hamburg, and racing back-to-back 2024 Ironman and 70.3 world championships in Kona and Taupo. “I often receive comments about my super-aero pro bike fit, and my answer is always the same: you have to go to Pedro!”
